How to connect Gree Heat Pumps to Gree+ WiFi App

WHERE TO DOWNLOAD THE GREE+ APP

The GREE+ app is available for free for both Android and iOS devices, turning your phone into a central command center for your GREE WiFi Heat Pumps.

• For Android: Download the GREE+ App from the Google Play Store, compatible with Android version 4.4 and above.
  
• For iOS: Get the GREE+ app from the Apple App Store, suitable for iOS 8.0 and later versions.
  

SETTING UP YOUR GREE ACCOUNT

To sync your GREE Heat Pumps with the app, activate the WiFi mode using your remote:

For remotes with a dedicated WiFi button: Press and hold it for 10 seconds until you hear a beep, signaling activation. You can repeat this to turn the WiFi mode off.

For remotes without a WiFi button: Press and hold the MODE and TURBO buttons simultaneously and hold for 10 seconds until you hear the beep to activate the feature. You can turn WiFi off the same way.

Once WiFi mode is active, open the GREE+ App on your phone to sign up for or log into your GREE Universal WiFi Access account. Once you’re logged in, you can register your GREE unit and prepare to manage your GREE Heat Pumps remote functions digitally.

If you’re signing up for the first time you’ll need to create a user name, enter your email address, create a password, and select your region before signing up.

CONFIGURING YOUR GREE+ APPLICATION

Linking the app to your home WiFi network is effortless:

In the "My Home" section, tap the "+" sign, select your home WiFi network and enter your network password (check the applicable box to have the app remember the password) and select "Search device."

The app will search for and detect your GREE AC units, once they’re found they will automatically be registered on the GREE Universal WiFi system.

PERSONALISING YOUR GREE HEAT PUMPS SETTINGS

The GREE+ App interface is designed for intuitive interaction, allowing you to:

Next tap the “settings” button to get to the settings screen, where you can customise your GREE unit name. Set a custom name for your unit so you can easily remember it, perhaps based on the room it’s located in.

On the settings screen you can also turn on/off privacy lock mode – This prevents unauthorized users from tampering with system settings.

TAILORING YOUR COMFORT WITH GREE WIFI SETUP

Once you’re registered and you’ve customized the names of your units, you can fully customize the comfort settings for your GREE units:

Adjust the temperature within a range of 16°C to 30°C.

Select your desired mode: Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan, or Heat.

Change fan speed settings or opt for the Auto mode for effortless adjustment.

You can also switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, if needed.
